Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of LeadFinder (the “Service”), operated by Vandiya (“Vandiya”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a business, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you are authorised to do so.

1. The Service

LeadFinder helps you discover businesses and find business contact information that the businesses themselves publish publicly (for example on their own websites). We use third-party discovery sources such as the Google Places API, and we scan businesses’ public websites. We do not guarantee that any information is complete, current or accurate, or that any email address will reach a person.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 and give accurate information, including a working email address.
  • You are responsible for your password and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at support@example.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One person per account. Creating multiple free accounts to get around limits is not allowed.

3. Plans, fair use and billing

  • The Free plan has monthly limits shown on the pricing page. Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually in advance through Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record (seller of record) for the payment and issues the tax invoice (UPI, cards and other supported methods).
  • Prices are shown excluding GST; 18% GST is added at checkout and shown on your tax invoice.
  • Pro includes a fair-use allowance (searches, lookups and verifications per month) shown in the app. We may throttle or pause usage that exceeds it or that looks automated or abusive.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from the Billing page at any time; Pro continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are covered by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we keep Pro for a short grace period while the payment is retried, then move your account to the Free plan. Your saved data is kept.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice by email; changes apply from your next renewal.

4. Your responsibilities when using contact data

You are the controller of how you use the information you obtain through the Service, and you must comply with every law that applies to your outreach, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules, the Information Technology Act, 2000, TRAI’s Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR, including the DND/NCPR registry), the policies of WhatsApp and other platforms, and anti-spam laws of other countries you contact (such as CAN-SPAM or GDPR). In particular:

  • Calls and SMS: do not make unsolicited commercial calls or send promotional SMS to numbers registered on the DND/NCPR list, and use only registered headers/templates where TRAI requires it.
  • WhatsApp: WhatsApp Business policy requires the recipient’s opt-in before you message them. A wa.me link on a website is not consent to bulk or marketing messages.
  • Email: identify yourself, keep messages relevant to the recipient’s business, include a working way to opt out, and honour opt-outs promptly.
  • Follow our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Prohibited use

You must not: resell or redistribute bulk data from the Service as a data product; use it for harassment, fraud, phishing or discrimination; target individuals in their personal capacity; scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the Service; get around limits, the free-email preview or security controls; or use it in breach of third-party terms that apply to the data (including Google’s). We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without refund where the breach is serious.

6. Data subjects’ rights and removals

Anyone can ask us to stop processing their data through our opt-out & removal form. Once processed, suppressed emails and domains are removed from the Service, including from leads you have already saved. You agree not to re-add or re-contact suppressed people using data from the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its software and design belong to Vandiya. You keep rights in content you add (notes, tags, lists). You give us a licence to host and process it to run the Service.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on providers such as Google (discovery), Dodo Payments (payments), email delivery providers and hosting. Their availability and terms are outside our control. Google Places content is shown with attribution and only as permitted by Google’s terms.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.

10. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your outreach or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or end the Service for you for breach, non-payment or legal reasons. After deletion we erase your account data as described in our Privacy Policy, except records we must keep by law (such as tax invoices).

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the app at least 15 days in advance.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chennai have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have.
